Kelso Bridge

John Rennie of Haddington built this bridge that opened to the public in 1803. The bridge remained a toll bridge until 1857. Rennie later built a bridge in London called the Waterloo Bridge. When the Waterloo Bridge was removed two standard lamps from the bridge were given to Kelso, they to this day remain at the end of the Kelso Bridge.
